March 2009 saw the official opening of Shrewsbury's Theatre Severn on Frankwell Quay - a stunning riverside location and one of the main gateways into the town. Shrewsbury is the county town of Shropshire and is renowned for its culture and heritage. WROXETER ROMAN VINEYARD |
Wroxeter Roman Vineyard was planted in 1991. It nestles in the foothills of the Wrekin on a sandy plateau of the Roman City of Viroconium, enjoying a special micro-climate. The vineyard is 4 miles East of Shrewsbury on the B4380 Shrewsbury to Ironbridge Road. Follow the brown signs.
The vineyard has a large shop selling our locally grown wines which include white, red, rose and sparkling, all to a quality standard.

2. The village has a post office with cash point machine a grocery store and a pub.
3. Nearest town is Shrewsbury
4. Parking is in front of the property
5. Entrance via a small step to the entrance hall. (Not suitable for wheelchairs.)
6. Both rooms are on the ground floor as the property is a bungalow.
7. The Balcony room has a (step in) wet room.
8. The Poppy room has an en-suite with spacious shower cubical.
9. The corridor is spacious and well lit.
10. The dining room is spacious with no carpets.
11. Menus & safety notices can be printed in large print or read on request.
12. Outside there is a side gate with easy access to the main garden via wide paths with a slight slope.
13. Free wireless high speed broadband is available.
14. Televisions with DVD players are available to both rooms.
15. Park and ride is less than 3 minutes drive from us.
16. Public transport bus stop is only a few minutes walk and runs between Hanwood and Shrewsbury every 30mins.
